My guess is Ashley Leggat (Casey) and Michael Seater (Derek) had some kind of romantic tension off-screen that seeped into their on-screen performances which unfortunately cemented Life with Derek’s legacy as the "Disney Channel incest show.” It’s okay, though. The actors ship it too.

Someone showed me this video in like 2014 and I still come back to it every now and then. I love his patronizing tone, I love the rocking camerawork that makes you feel seasick, I love the way he launches right into lore that raises a hundred different questions.
What is he forgiving Briona for? Who is Mr. Logerado. Is this even real?
This video was obviously meant for one person babygirl, so I don’t feel entitled to any answers from magmaflower (real name Dominick Romano) himself. So I snooped around for answers myself.
Here’s what I found:
Is the video real? yes
Why is he making the video? he made the video to “reassure his girlfriend that he was OK after staying home from school for several consecutive days due to an illness.”
Who is Mr. Logerado (LoGiurato)? We don’t know for sure. Some theorize it’s a wood shop teacher at school, but one commenter insinuates they go to school with the happy couple and Dominick is actually making a little joke about their English teacher.

Stickers - I believe there are only two types of things in the world: things I have put stickers on and things I have yet to put stickers on.
I found my old sticker collection while packing a few days ago and I can distinctly remember the contours of each and every one. Is this what having children is like?
I used to bring this thing with me everywhere in lieu of trying talk to other kids. They’d see the shiny glimmer and flock to me like crows. IDK I think it could still make a great conversation starter.
